Talent policy
Who can be a Peraoke talent, what a page here is, and what we may do with a take you record. Last updated 4 September 2026.
What a talent is
A Peraoke talent is a singer who is singing now — someone with an Instagram, their own voice, and something they want people to hear. You apply from your own Peraoke account, we look at it, and if we approve it you get a page on Talents with your name, your Instagram and anything we have attached for you.
This is a separate thing from the karaoke catalogue. The catalogue is Ebi, Hayedeh, Googoosh and the rest — recordings we prepare and publish. A talent page does not put you in that catalogue, does not make you one of those singers, and is not a record deal, a contract, or a promise of work.
Who can apply
You need to be 18 or over. You need a real Instagram account that is yours — not a fan page, not somebody else's, and not an account made to look like a well-known singer's. One Peraoke account, one talent page.
Writers, lyricists, composers and arrangers are not talents. Credits for the songs they made are a different part of the site.
Applying, and approval
Applying is a name, an Instagram handle and a tick. We read applications ourselves. Approval is our decision and we are allowed to say no without explaining why. We can also take a page down later — if the account turns out not to be yours, if you are pretending to be someone else, or if what you post would put us or other singers in a bad position.
You can ask us to remove your page at any time by writing to info@peraoke.com.
Posting your takes on our social — on by default
When you apply, one box is already ticked: Peraoke may post your takes and covers on our social accounts — Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Threads, Facebook and anywhere else we put clips. That is the point of applying, so it starts as a yes.
In plain terms, that yes means we may:
— take a video or a mix you recorded on Peraoke, or a clip you sent us for this, and post it;
— cut it shorter, crop it for a phone screen, add our logo, captions or the song title;
— keep it up on those accounts, and leave it in our archive of past posts.
It does not mean we own your voice or your performance. Your take stays yours. We are not selling it, we are not licensing it to anyone else, and we are not putting it in the karaoke catalogue as a track.
You can turn it off. The same box lives on your account page and on your own talent page, and you can untick it whenever you like. From then on we stop posting new clips of you. Anything already posted we will take down when you ask — say which post, and give us a few days.
If a song you sing belongs to someone else, that is still their song. We post takes as karaoke covers. If a rights holder asks us to remove one, we remove it.
What you put on your page
Your name, your Farsi name, where you are, and a few lines about you. Keep it true. Nothing hateful, nothing adult, nothing that harasses anybody, no politics posted as if it were ours.
Do not claim to be a catalogue star, do not imply Peraoke represents you, and do not use a page here to sell something to other singers.
Your own recordings
A take you record in the app is yours and stays on your phone unless you save or share it. A file you bring to Practice stays on your device. Neither becomes a Peraoke karaoke title on its own — a track becomes site karaoke only when we prepare and publish it ourselves.
Support — not open yet
Every talent page has a Support area, and today it is a sign, not a button. Support is not live. There is nothing to pay, nothing is being collected, and Peraoke does not ask anybody for a card number, a bank account, or any other payment detail.
When Support opens we will publish, separately and before it starts, what it costs, what a talent receives, and how long it takes. Until then, nothing on this site takes money for a talent, and anything claiming to is not us.
We can refuse or remove
Peraoke can decline an application, hide a page, edit an obvious mistake on one, or remove a page entirely. Songs and features come and go. Nothing here is promised to stay.
The rest
Being a talent does not make you our employee, our partner, or our agent, and it is not paid. The site Terms of Service and Privacy Policy still apply, including which law governs them.
If we change this policy the date at the top changes with it. If a change matters — especially anything about posting your takes — we will say so.
