Terms of Service
What Peraoke is, what you can do with it, and what we don't promise. Last updated 2 September 2026.
Who we are
Peraoke is a Persian karaoke site and app, made and run from California by MJSET. Anything on this page, email info@peraoke.com.
These terms cover peraoke.com and the Peraoke app for iPhone and Android. Using either means you accept them.
Using Peraoke
It's free. Browsing and singing don't need an account.
You need to be at least 13 to use Peraoke, and old enough where you live to agree to terms like these. If you're younger, ask a parent to set it up with you.
Don't attack the service, hammer our API, work around limits, or try to reach the admin side of the site. Don't use Peraoke to harass anyone or to break the law.
Your account
An account is an email address and a password. It exists so your saved songs and your Continue shelf follow you onto another phone — nothing more. Keep the password to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account.
You can delete your account yourself, in the app, under Settings. Deleting takes your saved songs and Continue with it, and it can't be undone. You can also ask us to delete it by email.
The catalogue
Every title in the public catalogue is put there by us. We choose the songs, prepare the karaoke, and publish them. Nobody else can add to the public library — there's no user upload path into it.
We don't sell you the music, and nothing here gives you rights in a recording or a composition. Those belong to the artists, writers, composers and rights holders who made them. What Peraoke offers is somewhere to sing along.
If you hold rights in a recording, a song or an artist on this site, write to us — see Rights & licensing or email info@peraoke.com. We read those messages ourselves and we usually reply within two days. We can remove any title at any time, and we will remove one when a rights holder asks us to.
What you can do with a track
Sing. At home, in the car, at a friend's, at a party, on a Night room around a TV. Post a video of yourself singing if you want to.
What isn't covered: ticketed or commercial events, broadcast or streaming as a business, re-uploading our tracks as your own, selling them, bundling them into another app or service, or scraping the catalogue. For anything commercial, ask us first.
Practice, and files you bring
Practice plays a catalogue title or a file from your own phone, and gives you tempo, key and a fader for the original voice while you rehearse.
A file you pick in the app stays on your phone. We don't upload it, we don't publish it, and it never becomes a catalogue title. Uploads are not how songs get onto Peraoke: a title becomes site karaoke only when we prepare and publish it ourselves.
When you bring a file, you're telling us you have the right to use it. Don't bring something you took from someone else.
Practice is a rehearsal desk, not a stem shop. It doesn't hand out an isolated backing track as a download.
Record
Record films you singing over the karaoke bed, on the phone. The take you export is a mix — your voice with the music — because that's what a performance is. There's no export of the backing alone.
Your take is yours. It stays on your phone unless you save or share it, and sharing it is your call. If you post it somewhere, that platform's rules and the rights in the underlying song still apply.
Night
Night is a party queue that runs on the device in the room. Whatever you type into it — a room name, your name for the queue — is visible to everyone in that room, so keep it civil.
Things we don't promise
Peraoke is free and provided as-is. Songs come and go, features are added and taken away, and some parts of the site say Coming soon because they are. We don't promise the service is uninterrupted, error-free, or that a particular title will still be here next month.
To the extent the law allows, Peraoke and MJSET aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from using the site or the app. Some of these limits may not apply to you, because some states don't allow them.
Ending it
You can stop using Peraoke whenever you like, and delete your account in the app. We can suspend or close an account that's being used to abuse the service or other people.
Which law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Anything that ends up in court belongs in the state or federal courts of California.
If we change these terms, the date at the top changes with them. If a change matters, we'll say so in the app or on the site.
